BIO
Brad Ward is a Sound Designer/Engineer in living in London, England. He is available for design or engineering work on a freelance basis. Previously, Brad spent two years as Lead Audio Tech for The Beatles Love by Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas and two years in New York City as an AV System Designer/Project Manager for Acoustic Dimensions.
Sound Design/Composition credits include Miss Julie and The Ladies of the Camellias (associate) at the Yale Repertory Theatre, A Splash of Nutmeg in Milk and The Merchant of Venice at Yale School of Drama, (L)Imitations of Life, You’ve Never Done Anything Unforgivable, Funeral Games, and In the Heart of America at the Yale Cabaret.
In New York City, Baal at Columbia University.
Brad's design for The Methuselah Tree won the Sound Design Award at World Stage Design 2009. Brad is also the 2005 recipient of the Clear-Com/USITT Award for Sound Achievement for his Sound Design of The Jammer at the 2004 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Brad holds an MFA degree in Sound Design from Yale School of Drama and a BS degree in Computer Science/Business from Lipscomb University.
Formerly, Brad was Technical Director at Lipscomb University and a Mix Engineer at Opryland USA, a theme park in Nashville.
