Saidou lives behind The Genial Snack. There are several rooms there that a lady rents out. Cecli, pictured below, runs the bar and was kind to bring us food every day. If you are ever in Bamenda, be sure and pay her a visit in Old Town.
Bamenda was very comfortable. It was not too hot and there were no mosquitoes. Saidou's room has electricity, but there is no running water here. We paid a boy 500cfa or $1.00 to fill the water barrel for us which was enough water for our laundry, baths, coffee, etc. while we were there.
