On Saturday I woke up early and went out on the beach. The beach by our hotel was no place to swim. Too rocky and full of trash. While I waked, I was afraid. I had to wade through lots of trash that had been washed to the shore - anything you can imagine. While I was out, a lady and child came collecting bottles and plastic to sell. It made me very sad to see all this.
There also was an oil rig about 1/2 mile down the shore.
I sat at the restaurant and wrote in my journal. Then we went out for some food and met up with Noe and his brother Emmanuel to go to the Zoo. Noe works at the computer institute there in Limibe. I was talking with him, and they offer classes in AutoCad and Architect 3d which was very impressive. I talked to him about whether or not computer recording/music classes would go over well, and although I'm not sure he understood what I was talking about, he was positive and said that Cameroon is ripe for things like this.
After the Zoo, we said goodbye to Noe and went back to the hotel for a swim.
the tide went out, we were able to go out on the rocks which was nice.
It started to rain so we stayed and ate at the hotel. I had a cold, so I went to bed.
